Benjamin Braun Joins London School of Economics and Political Science

In September of this year, Benjamin Braun will take up a post as assistant professor of political economy at the European Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science. Braun has been a senior researcher at the MPIfG since August 2016 and a fellow at the Hertie School of Governance since 2023. His research interests are the political economy of finance, monetary policy, and the macro-financial aspects of climate policy. He is currently writing a book on asset manager capitalism, which will be published by Chicago University Press.
