Cornelia Woll is MaxPo Co-director

Political scientist Cornelia Woll is the new Co-director of the Max Planck Sciences Po Center on Coping with Instability in Market Societies (MaxPo) in Paris. Woll is Professor of Political Science at Sciences Po and a researcher at the Center for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE). Her research focuses on comparative and international political economy. At MaxPo, she will continue her work on the politics of finance, studying the dynamics of financial market regulation. She is returning to the position she held from 2012 to 2015, during the early years of the research center. MaxPo is a collaboration between Sciences Po and the MPIfG and studies the effects of increasing liberalization, technical advances, and cultural change on Western industrial nations. Cornelia Woll succeeds Jenny Andersson and will lead the Center together with Olivier Godechot.
