MPIfG founded Partner Group in Chile

September 16, 2019

Together with the Central University of Chile, the MPIfG has set up an international Max Planck Partner Group in Chile. It will be led by Felipe González, who was a doctoral researcher at the IMPRS-SPCE from 2011 to 2015. The Partner Group aims to be a platform for exchanging ideas and building connections with researchers in the region, as well as promoting the institutionalization of economic sociology in Chile. Max Planck Partner Groups are intended to support outstanding young researchers who have already held a position at a Max Planck Institute and want to return to their country of origin. In this, the Max Planck Society works together with countries that seek to strengthen their research base through international collaboration.
